Grocery Angel Delivers Again
Our staff at Menomonee Falls Health Services in Wisconsin and Hopkins Health Services in Minnesota were blessed with a gift from an anonymous donor who worked with several small businesses in Wisconsin to put together a grocery delivery. Long-term care providers are on the front line of keeping the most vulnerable members of our communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. This means long days and nights in a challenging and often stressful environment. These grocery deliveries give a little bit of time back to our #LTCHeroes, and give them one less thing to worry about when outside of the center.
In addition to the groceries, staff received a kind message which read:
Thank you for all you do!
You face risk everyday with unwavering commitment and love. We sincerely appreciate all of your efforts. Please continue to keep yourself and your residents as safe and healthy as possible. We love you!
The deliveries would not have been made possible without the help and generous donations from The Piggly Wiggly in Poynette, WI, OrgaNick Pastures in Rio, WI who donated fresh eggs, Johnson’s Sausage Shoppe in Rio, WI, who donated bacon, as well as monetary donations from the staff at Power System Engineering in Madison and other generous donors.
