North Shore Health, the largest provider of post-acute care in the Upper Midwest, is excited to announce a partnership with Medrina, the nation’s largest physiatry group.

Medrina is a doctor-owned organization committed to improving patient outcomes by adding significant rehabilitative knowledge and value to skilled nursing facilities, rehab hospitals, and unified physiatry and clinician teams. Dr. Christopher Lynch and Dr. Matthew Cowling, Chief Clinical Officer, are providing care to residents at the following Wisconsin-based North Shore skilled nursing centers:
- Cedarburg Health Services
- Lake Country Health Services
- Maple Ridge Health Services
- Mercy Health Services
- Sunrise Health Services
- Willowcrest Health Services
Medrina will soon expand its partnership to serve North Shore’s skilled nursing facilities in Sheboygan, which are Sheboygan Health Services, Sheboygan Progressive Health Services, Morningside Health Services, and Meadow View Health Services.

“Medrina is heavily focused on the patient’s individualized goals, conducting extensive education as part of the diagnosis and recovery,” said Tina Belongia, Chief Clinical Officer for North Shore. “Their communication with residents, families, and staff at the centers are paramount to helping residents with pain reduction, improvement in mobility, and quality of life.”
Whether facilitating a safe return home or enhancing the quality of life for long-term residents, Dr. Cowling said he was inspired by the dedication and expertise of North Shore’s staff.
“I look forward to continuing our partnership to implement innovative rehabilitation strategies that positively impact the lives of our residents,” he added.
