Riverview Health Services

Our story

Prior to becoming a skilled nursing facility in the late 1970s, Riverview was a local hospital. The facility has long been a staple in the Tomahawk community. We are located on the banks of the scenic Wisconsin River and our residents benefit from rooms with river views and time spent on our comfortable outdoor patio. Our goal is to offer our residents the opportunity to be a partner in the care they receive, to develop trusting relationships with our caregivers, and to reach their highest level of independence.

What people say

Testimonials

“The work atmosphere is great, and my co-workers are my second family. We may work in different departments, but we all work towards a common goal and that is patient care. I am proud to work for Riverview because we are always striving to raise the community standards and truly care about our patients.”

- Tina, Social Service Director

“My stay here makes me feel like I am a part of a family. The CNA staff is always attentive to my needs and requests. The kitchen staff honors my requests for alternative choices during meals. I also feel my comments or concerns reach the proper individuals if further attention is needed.”

- Gerald, Resident

“The housekeepers are in every day to tidy our rooms and do our laundry. The staff are very caring and kind and are never afraid to give out hugs! If the residents want to see a change at the facility, they can voice their opinions at many of the resident meetings held. They always have something going on during the day to keep us busy and entertained.”

- Laura Sorensen and Katherine Pelletier, Roommates
